The Proud Goose
A goose and an otter lived in a river.
The goose felt that the otter was ugly.Its eyes were small and it could not see far.
One day,when the otter was building a house,the goose swam towards it.
"Hi!How are you,friend?"The otter asked.
"You can only see me if I swim near to you,"the goose said proudly."You will die because of your blindness!"
The otter smiled and answered,"My ears are better than yours!I will run away before the enemy comes."
When both of them were quite,the otter asked the goose if it heard the "SHAA......"sound.
Then goose listened for a while and said,"I do not hear any sound!"
When the otter asked again,the goose still answered that it did not hear any sound.
The otter wanted the goose to listen again.The goose became angry and said,"You are blind,don;t try to fool me!"
The otter told the goose that the foot steps were nearing.They should run away quickly.The otter jumped into the water.
The goose thought that its eyes could see everything.It did not want to run away.
The goose lengthened its necked and looked around proudly.
At the same time,a hunter was pointing the gun towards the goose.
"Pang!"The hunter shot at the goose.Finally,It fell and died in the water.
